INDEPENDENCE DAY



The Fourth of July is independence day in the United States. It is a federal holiday. This holiday is known as an adoption of the Declaration of Independence which was commemorate on July 4, 1776. It is a day declaring its independence from Great Britain(United Kingdom). Everyone enjoys Independence Day because they don't have to work. Its a day of relaxation and fun. You can get together with friends and families. On this holiday you have parades, fairs, barbecues, picnics, and yes concerts, and yes baseball games. The families get together to celebrate and to enjoy each other company. Some families go to the park and have barbecues and invite friends and families. They may barbecue spare ribs, steak, and chicken. Also hot dogs and hamburgers for the children. Some make potatoes salad, corn on the cob, macaroni and cheese, salad, and fruit salad. They also enjoyed the fireworks at the end of the day. In some instances, some have there political speeches, political views, or celebration. Many public or private sector may celebrate the history, traditions or government of our United States. Moreover, Independence Day is also the National Day of the United States. Basically, the main purpose was that the day the Declaration of Independence was declared by the Continental Congress. The Fourth of July, is a day full of fun and the fireworks at the end of the day is awesome. I love to see all the beautiful colors and how it looks so spectacular in the sky.
